Jami Meek Designs is a luxury interior design studio located in downtown Lee's Summit. From commercial spaces to residential remodels, JMD can take on your design project from beginning to end. Our first priority is to always listen to our client’s project goals and to streamline the overall design process. We utilize 3D software for our clients to experience their space before any decisions or selections have been made. This allows clients to understand their project, from new paint colors or walk through their new space plan. It minimizes changes and creates better communication with the contractors during construction.
At JMD, we make the decisions and take the time to create more livable spaces for busy families. We love our job and are excited to work with you.
Jami loves meeting new people and connecting through design. Her approachable demeanor takes away the stuffiness & pretentious misconception about interior design. She listens to her clients and helps makes the decisions to create livable spaces for families. With over 16 years of experience and an Interior Design degree from the University of Missouri, she has worked on large corporate projects during her time at a local architecture firm, boutique projects, and luxury home renovations. All of these experiences have allowed her to continue her passion for space planning and creating the best layout for your home. When she's not contemplating the perfect color palette, she's busy with her husband and two kids, enjoying some lake time or hiking.
"Jami has been a complete professional joy to work with in redecorating my home. She listened to my expectations and exceeded them with the final outcome. She is very easy to communicate my ideas and had great resources in order to fulfill my decorating needs. So whatever your decorating needs, whether they be from building a new home or just redecorating rooms, Jami has my recommendation."
"Jami did my new kitchen, and I absolutely love it!! I will be consulting and working with Jami as I continue to do remodeling on my home. I can't say enough positive things about this girl!"
"We have used Jami twice. Once for a master bath complete remodel and another time after a fire at our house. Jami did an excellent job on helping us pick tile, color and even designed the cabinets based on a "napkin design" we had. The whole experience was great.
We had a house fire in December of 2016 and basically got to rebuild the entire house. Jami stepped in and took control of the decorating and design (Since we have no ability!). She worked with the restoration company from the start and coordinated the whole redesign process. This involved not only picking colors, tile, carpet, wood floors, but designing a new basement bar and home theater. She even helped went with us to furniture store and advised on how to integrate new furniture with some of our existing pieces.
I would highly recommended Jami without hesitation and have recommeded her to several friends."
